Here is one more reason to skip the drive-thru: Adolescents and children who eat fast food three times or more per week are 39 percent more likely to have severe asthma than kids who rarely eat fast food.

A diet of fresh foods is best, according to an international team of researchers who also found that kids who ate three or more servings per week of fruit have a lower risk of severe asthma.
