This fruit smoothie is a healthy, refreshing treat—in the summer, or any time!

"Freeze in ice pop molds or an ice cube tray to make a cool dessert!” says Angela Shelf Medearis, author of The Kitchen Diva's Diabetic Cookbook (Andrews McMeel, 2012).

Time 10 min.| Serves 3


1 banana

1/2 cup orange juice

1/2 cup vanilla soy yogurt

1/2 cup mixed fresh or frozen berries

1 Tbsp agave nectar


  1. Combine ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Serve.

Per Serving 110 calories, 1.74 g protein, 26 g carbohydrates, 2 g fiber, 1 g fat, 0 g saturated fat, 0 g cholesterol, 4.5 mg sodium
