Q. Is there a limit to how many edits I can make to my practice website?
A. There is no limit to the amount of edits you can make to your website. Our website services are all-inclusive.
Q. Do I have to make my own edits to the website?
A. You don't need to learn any website skills. We take care of all edits and enhancements for you, upon request. You simply tell us what you want by e-mail, mail, fax or phone.
Q. Will my private/personal information be sold or given to other companies?
A. No. Healthcommunities.com (HC) will not disclose your personal information.
Q. How is payment arranged?
A.Your fee can be charged to a credit card on a recurring monthly basis. We can also accommodate annual or quarterly payments by check.
Q. Is there a contract?
A. There is no long-term contract but there is a service agreement. You will be able to read and accept a Service Agreement at the time you submit your enrollment form. The agreement establishes the 30-day cancellation policy and explains the terms of service. The service agreements can be found online as follows:

Q. What if I decide to cancel?
A. You can cancel your service at any time with 30 days notice.
Q. Who owns the content on the website?
A. The practice owns the content it provides (photos, forms, etc.). The patient education and the site design are owned by Healthcommunities.com.
Q. Will I be informed of any pending rate increases?
A. There are no planned increases at this time. If an increase is planned, HC will notify its customers via e-mail no later than 45 days prior to implementation.
Q. Is my website subsidized by a pharmaceutical company?
A. Pharmaceutical companies and other advertisers sponsor our educational content, and HC has industry partnerships, all of which serve to keep the cost of your website services as low as possible.
Q. What if I only want a basic website without the full range of services?
A. Our MDLocator Plan includes the option to have us build a one-page website for your practice.
Q. I have another website. Can I be listed in your online physician locator (MDLocator)?
A. Yes. Our MDLocator Plan is available for a small fee. With even one new referral per year, the listing pays for itself.

Q. Can I use Healthcommunities.com's patient education content for my other website, instead of maintaining an HC practice website?
A. Yes, HC does license its physician-developed content. Call 1.888.950.0808 for pricing information. Reproducing our content without a license is in violation of our copyright and is strictly prohibited.
Q. Other companies also offer websites. What makes yours special?
A. Many features set us apart. We provide original, physician-monitored patient education for your website. Also, complete customer service and website marketing support is included in the Full-Service Plan.
Many times, the advertised price of other website providers only includes a "starter" website, and then all additions and support cost extra. It may cost much more than their base fee to make even modest changes to your site. With our Full-Service Plan, you won't be charged extra, no matter how many edits you make. You won't be charged extra for domain name registration; search engine optimization; website promotion handouts; the services of our in-house designers, editors, and proofreaders. And you won't be charged extra for the first-rate consultation services of our website managers, who are available to you Monday through Friday by phone, fax, and e-mail.
