Research & Studies about Snoring
A number of studies are being conducted to examine the causes for snoring and develop more effective treatments. This research includes a study to determine if reducing caffeine intake has an effect on snoring and sleep quality, and a study to determine whether botulinum toxin can help patients with sleep-related breathing disorders, which often lead to snoring.
Another study is focused on investigating whether a mandibular repositioning appliance can be helpful in patients with obstructive sleep apnea and snoring.
