Symptoms of UPJ obstruction include the following:

  • Back pain
  • Blood in the urine (hematuria)
  • Failure to thrive
  • Flank pain
  • Flank mass
  • Kidney infection (pyelonephritis)
  • Urinary tract infection (UTI)
